2009-03-05 Murray River Mapping and Treating Willows between Bunroy Creek to Maguires Bridge

Between the 1st and 6th of February 2009 Willow Warriors with Duke of Edinburgh candidates from Macmasters Beach Surf Life Saving Club, three other volunteers and two river guides, mapped and treated the following willows on both sides of the borders along the Murray river between Tom Groggin and Maguires Bridge.
On the 5th February we paddled the 12km from Bunroy Creek picnic area to Maguires Bridge, treating Golden Crack hybrid willows, x mature cinerea, x cinerea seedlings and x small poplars in the National Park and mapping the mixture of Cinerea, Golden Crack Hybrids weeping and other hybrids on the private land down to Maquires bridge.
